Gambit is not yet holding real money, so nothing on this server can be lost. That is exactly the right time to be clear about which protections exist and which do not.
- A casual game costs nothing. Nothing is escrowed when you take the seat and nothing is paid out when it ends, so you can play the same product for as long as you like without a stake.
- Games against the practice bots are always unstaked, and cannot be made otherwise.
- Your account cannot go negative. There is no credit, no overdraft and no way to stake money you do not have.
- Stakes are a fixed, short ladder rather than a free-text amount, and the largest rung is small.
- Every movement of money is a double-entry line you can read back in your statement, so what you have staked and what you have won is a matter of record rather than recollection.
- A draw is never raked, so the cheapest way out of a position you do not like costs you nothing.
- Deposit, loss and session limits.
- Self-exclusion, and any cooling-off period.
- Age verification against a verified date of birth rather than a self-reported one.
- Identity verification, and geofencing enforced on the server.
- Velocity and structuring checks, and an audit record of every compliance decision.
Every one of these is required before Gambit could take a real deposit, which is one of the reasons it does not take one.

If Gambit ever operates real-money play, it will be under a licence that requires the relevant service to be named on this page for every jurisdiction it serves, and it will be named here before the first deposit is taken.
Real-money play is not available on Gambit today, anywhere. When it is, it will not be available in fourteen US states under a blocklist reviewed by counsel in August 2026, and that list is a dated snapshot rather than a standing fact.
